Summer Baking and Cake Decorating Camps

It’s here!  Registration for our amazing Baking and Cake Decorating Camps for kids and teens is now open for 2021!

Purple Cow Cakery's Kids and Teen Camps are designed to build confidence in the kitchen while providing a fun outlet to let your aspiring pastry chef's creativity shine.   Bakers are grouped together by age, with friends or siblings.  They will work independently and with partners.  Each session is limited to 14 participants (unless guidance changes).  Bakers do not need prior experience with cake decorating or baking to enjoy this experience.  Bakers must be 8 or older to attend.

Two weeks only!  Join Purple Cow Cakery for our summer baking camps and learn to bake and decorate with owner and cake designer, Nicole Contursi.

We’re so excited to create, bake, and yes, even wash a few dishes with your bakers. In June and July, your bakers will have the opportunity to work with our professional pastry instructor and baking counselors to feed their quest for knowledge or even to stoke a new interest on how food really bakes. We’re here to encourage and champion our young bakers and to help them learn from kitchen mistakes. We’re true believers that learning is doing and we’ve got our young bakers baking every day with gusto and enthusiasm.

 

Your bakers will bring home their delicious baked goods daily.  We'll also provide each baker with  a set of cake decorating tools to continue practicing at home all the new skills they learned throughout the week.

Registration: Two weeks only!  Please see below and click on the week you would like your baker to attend.  Register for both weeks and receive a 10% discount on the second week.  Or call 917-301-7538 to register by phone. All camps are limited to 14 participants and include instructor, Nicole Contursi and at least one kitchen assistant. All camps are filled on a first come, first served basis and require a minimum of 8 bakers. Camps may be canceled due to under-enrollment. In the event a camp is canceled, a full refund will be issued.  Please read our allergy notice prior to registration.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made at least one calendar month before the first day of your child’s camp. No exceptions will be made. No refunds, credits, or camp rescheduling will be allowed for cancellations made after this time. Cancellations made at least one month prior to the camp will be refunded minus a $100 cancellation fee.

Allergy Notice: This is a professional kitchen and is NOT an allergy safe environment. All our recipes are nut free, however, nuts and other allergens have been used in the kitchen we will be utilizing.  If your child has food allergies, please call us to discuss prior to registering for class at 917-301-7538. Special Needs: Please let us know of any special needs your child may have at the time of registration. Special accommodations can only be made (allergies, vegetarians, etc.) with a minimum of six weeks notice to allow us to plan.
